November 2017

November’s the beginning of “Work on it Wednesdays”! Stop by any time between 1 pm and 5 pm and contribute to a communal art work or community project. It’s free, fun, and you can stay for 10 minutes, an hour, or longer!

Wednesday November 1: Help make a work of art using oil pastels, hammers, and fake flowers to adorn the fence outside the store. Perfect for those who love drawing and whacking!

Wednesday November 8th: Create thoughtful and festive cards for veterans recovering from illness at the VA – cards will be distributed in advance for Veterans’s Day (Sat Nov. 11).

Wednesday Nov 15th: Use screwdrivers to attach caps, lids and other items to a wooden art piece. It will build and reinforce fine motor skills, and it’s meditative and enjoyable.

Wednesday Nov 22nd: dip in to a variety of ongoing projects and try your hand at using unusual materials to make beautiful artwork!
